Caterer - baru lepas discussion dgn abah azam n die kate kalo ade mane2 caterer yg ok, book je. nmpk nye die pun dh kecuak-an tu. katenye sbb takut nnt by our date caterer dh xavailable. well of cz ade belambak caterer. but bare in mind, yg available utk kite xsemestinya yg terbaik. i ade dpt tips katenye its better kalo kite dpt jd org awal yg book dgn that particular caterer cz in one day they might take more than one place so yg awal2 tu la yg akan dpt chafing dish yg class n sbg nya. also kalo bole i nk carik caterer kt shah alam gak supaye senang die nk deliver nnt. usj ke, kg. melayu subang ke, sg. buloh ke is still considerable.

2. Hall - another thing is to find time utk jumpe dgn PIC utk hall. yes, abah azam pun ade tanye pasal ni jgak. percaya x, die dh siap kan the guest list! jeez... gile advance FFIL aku ni. sebelum i je yg terpaksa jd tukang menjawab, its better kalo kite dpt clear kan everything once n for all. 

3. Hantaran from UK - this is good. kaklin kate she dont mind to buy me anything from UK as hantaran. tp dgn syarat nnt die blk i kne byr blk. well, of cz la kan. die suruh i choose anything that i like n she'll get it for me. since kaklin yg akan byr dulu, i xtau brape budget die n i pun xmo la order yg mahal2. been checking out here n there but yeah, i asik tgk bnde yg same je n yet i cant make up my mind. =(

4. Baju Azam - finally, azam setuju nk pakai suit on our wedding day. hahaha.. its always been my no. 1 choice but i xnk decide kan utk die. i xnk la nmpk obvious sgt yg this wedding is all bout me. mmg semua org pun tau, lelaki xamik port sgt but hey, that doesnt mean yg diorg pun xde teringin ape2. tp xpela.. smlm pun die dh mentioned this to his mom. mak die kate "xpanas ke tghari2 pakai suit?", well aunty.. hall kami kan ade aircond. ngeeee.. now that she hv seen the point so, yeah.. it has been approved! maka.. ade chan la aku pakai baju pink kak suri ni..

rasenye i tamak sgt kut sbb tu la carik2 xjumpe. kjap carik caterer kjap carik baju kjap carik hantaran. anyway, kalo uols ade suggestion bg la eh.. i know korg baik.. kan kan kan.. =P especially part caterer.. despite byk bnde kne buat, i also need to hear some review from u. mcm yg kite tau, caterer adalah antara potential wedding crasher terbesar dlm weddings. yikes!

hall decorations

suddenly i have this call to do hall inspection by next month. seriously dari awal booking hari tu i dgn my entourage xgi lagi hall tu, jumpe PIC n discuss further on our time, what else to rent, what else do we get to rent n all that.

terase takut jgak bile langsung xdpt discuss secara bersemuka dgn that PIC. selama ni we just communicated through phone calls n emails. *bare with me as i skrg dh masuk zone cuak. ape2 pun i akan carik point utk cube cuak. well, i have 7more months to cuak. yikes!*

basically hall pelamin mmg dh settle. tgh dlm proses utk complete kan payment. insyallah, semua akan berjalan lancar kalau ikut kan my plan. however, my pelamin package just include all those pelamin thingy + walkways n baju n make up n all that stuff.

tgk smbil gigit kuku.. cantiknye abg arjuna oii.. i dh tanye diorg whats the price n fyi, its no way u can get this for below than 10k. hamboi.. nk hulur 1k pun tgn i dh menggigil, ni kan 10k. sigh.

the one yg kat atas tu is by my WP as well. have yet to discuss with them. yg bwh plak by [kamalinda caterers]. kalo ikut nafsu serakah aku ni alamat meletup2 la lagi budget aku. tolong la esok ujan turun duit. kasi la aku chance.. =(

hall layout

yellop uols!! lame sungguh rasenye i update blog cinta hati i ni. but anyway, im at work now n hari ni adalah time bomb. im gonna be extremely bz lps je sesuatu telah didecide oleh para bosses. so, before i jd robot super hebat bekerja tanpa henti dgn kelajuan maximum lepas ni, i nk rilex2 smbil mencoret ape yg terpendam dihati. =P *hopefully, the bomb wont explode, not until i finish writing*

these few days, i asik2 terpandang hall i yg besar gajah tu je. its too big it can fit up to hundred gajah i rase. or bole jadi lebih. hahaha.. its been part of our concern that the hall may look too spacious since we'll not going to fill the hall with only tables n chairs. kalo ikutkan the hall can fit 180tables to fit 1800people. but nope, kitorg xkan isi hall kitorg dgn tables and chairs sebanyak tu. we were thinking max 80 tables je. so, what do we do now??

ok, dont panic, i dh pk panjang pasal ni hopefully it'll work out just fine. insyallah..

i was thinking of dividing the hall into 4. kitorg mmg akan buat sebelah kiri : my guests and sebelah kanan : azam's guests. and apart from that, kt tgh2 tu will try to have the carpet jd + (plus) n one side nk buat tpt mkn beradab n kat another end nk buat tpt potong kek. u see, we dont really like the idea of mkn btol2 kt depan stage/pelamin. nnt xbest la pengantin nk naik pelamin kne corner2 baring. sgt x symmetrical. n kalo kitorg buat bentuk T mcm yg kt 1st pic tu takut nnt xfair plak guests sebelah pihak je yg dpt tgk kitorg dekat2.

i kinda like the idea since i rase i sgt suke dgn latest design from our WP. i nk mintak die buat a very simple pelamin without panel lebih kurang mcm ni..

now, give me ur opinion, kalo i nk buat seperti idea diatas, dh tentu2 la pengantin kne berjalan hampir keseluruh pelusuk hall *i gune hyperbola je*. i dont know if i'll be penat berjalan perlahan2 or what. but basically thats the plan n what say u?

im yet to go to the hall n check on it officially. i sgt2 xde mase utk itu. so skrg i just picture everything i want based on photos yg ade kat fb diorg or any photo tagged to them. i also nk check with them jgak to see if is it possible for me to implement the tips from puan [ liyana SCR : change your reception time ; literally! ]. masalah nye lagi, hall i tu bukan setakat besar tp bertingkap2 pule. pakai lampu ke xpakai lampu ke msti terang gak jadi nye. hurm.. i mmg perlu buat lawatan rasmi kesane.

so, ini lah yg i dok fikir2 kan sepanjang 2-3hari ni. mase yg paling byk dpt ilham adalah mase mandi *???* so far azam xde objection. n since the color we chose are light pink n soft blue, i was thinking of having a "cute garden-ish" wedding theme for our special day.

to me, venue is the most essential for you to start ur preps. cite la pelamin wane ape, panel brape skali pun. kalo venue xde xbest la kan. skrg i can imagine the whole thing. table set up, decorations, entrance. bace2 blk previous entry, mak aihh.. susah nye nk dpt kn dewan. tp tu la, kite kne usaha smpai berjaya. skrg, date dah confirm, venue pun dh onfirm. kalo ikut entry ni [link] , sumenye dh di plan accordingly. sib baik ade bridal carnival. bole la selesaikan mane yg patut mase tu pada harga promosi. weee...

good morning all sunshine!!! selamat melalui hari terakhir utk bulan 1 '11.. yupp, mase berlalu mcm air. to all b2b mcm saye, cube try tgk daisypath or any widget yg korg ade utk calculate berapa hari lagi korg ade until ur wedding day. mine ade 10 months ++ lg. yikes! 10 months pun dh cukup menyeksakkan dada. imagine those yg cume ade 4months? mayb 3? mayb 2? yeah.. its dup dap dup dap - ing inside ur heart. saya faham sgt. anyway, everythings gonna b fine. u've put all ur effort to make it special. nway, its ur day.. its jz u that matter. janji u like it, dear..

anyway, pagi2 membebel ni sbb nk share my experience selepas sebulan bergiat aktif dlm kehidupan seorg b2b. xsangka sikit demi sikit, ade jgak hal2 yg berjaya diselesaikan. alhamdulillah.. so, dlm bln ni jgak i dh start aggressively look out for WP. to b honest i mmg mintak quotation dari sume WP yg i suke. from there i bole compare sume skali. so far i dh buat mcm2 perception. yg paling penting ialah nk kne compare kan harga dgn hasil kerja mereka. yg mane mahal n cantik gile babas tu mmg xdpt dipertikaikan. kalo quotation die mahal, sbb die bg kau satu decoration yg mcm istana kut. n yet, so far sume nye reasonable2 belaka. blom lg jumpe WP yg charge belas2 ribu untuk hasil kerja yg mcm ado.. honestly, consumer skrg xbodo. kami pun beli bunga hidup, kami pun pnah jln kt kl smpai nmpk kdai yg supply kerusi n panel2 yg korg gune tu n tanye harganya. so, if any of u guys charge smpai terpancut darah kitorg keluar ikut telinga, mendengar n membaca itu adalah sgt xwajar. but so far blom jumpe lagi WP mcm tu. credit to all WP yg respond to me. 

pnah satu hari terbaca entry Renee si kucing comel dan bijak pasal PR vendor2. ok, gile scary cite die. of cz la kite b2b xmo disentapkan sedemikian rupe oleh vendor2 pilihan hati. serious kalo kite xsuke hasil kerja diorg xmungkin la kite mintak quotation mereka. ingat kitorg nk kawin asal ade je ke? we want the best of the best n kalo kitorg dh tanye quotation utk sekian2 vendor tu maknenye vendor tu best la. personally, i teruja ok dpt reply dari vendor2 yg i mintak quotation. n after bace entry renee i jd lebih aware. i've prepared myself to face all these kinda not-so-good-in-PR vendors. but alhamdulillah.. diorg sume baik2 belaka. mungkin ade la yg kite tanye berjela2 jawapnye 2-3 patah je. but tgk pun die reply gune bb, i assume die bz n mase die tu mungkin die tgh commit dgn kerja lain. its ok. i fhm.. all thanks to renee sbb after reading urs i xsentap dpt reply2 sedemikian. dh ready dh. huhuhu..

since 2weeks ago, mate ni terase sgt sensitive dgn kelipan yg dikeluarkan oleh LED light BB. motive, i wish it blinks for some email notification. normally BB will blink for how many reason eh, 1. FB notification 2. new sms 3. new bbm notification 4. any misscall notification 5. my company personal email 6. my boss' email and last but not least 7. my own personal email. ok, yg last tu sgt2 menerujakan. as per previous entry, [LINK] i did mentioned yg i already sent the letter to the hall im about rent. ok, part tu yg terpaling dinanti2. katenye kalo everything dh ok, ble proceed byr deposit. to b honest, selagi belum letak deposit, hati ni xsenang. xsenang nk claim yg yupp, my wedding will b held there. sbb tu, kat blog ni pun xde mention pun name hall mane.  but insyallah, kalo sumenye berjalan lancar, i will announce n share all the info yg saye ade.

if im not mistaken, i sent the letter about a week ago. on a day before thaipusam. since so far the hall management sgt prompt in replying all my emails, i pun letak kan quite a high hope to receive their response the soonest. so, i waited. friday, nope. mungkin sbb diorg sedang go through my letter or they should give it to the more appropriate authority, i dont know. so, fine. monday, nope, not on monday. mayb still under consideration. but i did sent them fax on monday. kut la diorg xprasan my email. called them to ask them if they have received n asking for it status. menurut kate that one lady, they have received n r processing it. die kate die tgh buat surat semule utk respond to my letter. great! so, yesterday i waited. tgk2 xdpt gak. tp dpt bende lain plak. n sgt menggembirakan jugak. tp it wont b too menggembirakan if i still cant confirm on my hall. smlm, i decided to just wait n see. tp hari ni, curiousity membuak2 n i really need to know the status. bole ke xbole nk pakai hall tu? hurm.. so, siang td i try call lg. time tu about hujung2 lunch hour. nobody pick up the phone. ok, terpause sebentar disitu. i dont want to b sound like im too pushy. tp xble, i need to know. so i sent them another email. kali ni dgn ayat yg lebih berlapik.

i asked :

"salam, just nk tanye sikit. abt my booking on 24th dec, bile agaknye bole bayar deposit eh?"

(chewah, terus tanye deposit tu. xtanye dh bole ke xbole. dpt ke xdpt)

n to my surprise, sepantas kilat diorg reply (gebang je, actually ade la 15mins later)

"salam, surat cik baru je kami pos. deposit bayar next week pun boleh"

apakah makna semuanya ini? byr next week pun bole? dh pos? so... dpt ke? mcm dpt je.. owh, seakan xpercaya (xpercaya pulak) huhuhu.. kalo ditafsir2 reply encik dewan kite ni td, tidur mlm ku hampir lena la mcm ni. xde nye setiap kali terjage dari tdo, terbelek2 kelipan cahaya LED BB. konon nk check if there's any email. pstu xpasal2 terlayan fb n it took me about 10-15mins utk tdo smule. cheit!

btw, lagi satu email yg sgt mengembirakan yg i just mentioned td ialah berkenaan dgn quotation. rase nye mcm dh nk faham, kalo ko mintak quotation WP hari2 weekend, mmg "confirm" la diorg reply secepat mungkin. dh tentu WP yg kau tanye tu awesome so, mestila diorg "xde kje nk melayan email ko time org ramai sibuk2 nk kawin". tp xpela, adik baru blaja kak. hehehe.. tp kan, tgh mlm smlm, i received an email from one of my favorite n dream WP. ikut kan dlm byk2, i cume ade 3favorites je. nampaknye satu dh reply. the price BELOW MY BUDGET! ok, mmg terase mcm nk reply kt kakak tu, "ok kak, cun.. kite proceed je. saye nk yg mcm ni, mcm tu, wane ni, wane tu" but hold a sec. xmo tergopoh2 walaupun hakikatnye sgt teruja to the max. i've give myself a proper program. tunggu lg 2WP tu reply tgk mcmane. 2nd week of February ni plak ade bridal carnival lg kt tpt aku keje. br td die buat vendor briefing. ikut kan nk je join sekaki kepochi nk tau vendor mane yg join. but nahhh... sabar itu separuh drpd iman. tggu je la nnt. kalo ade offer yg menarik, i'll grab. but kalo xde, i gegar2 butik WP2 idaman. owh, im getting bz now.. kuang kuang kuang..

**in one of these days dh kne byr balance deposit utk my videographer. nway, when should be the best time utk discuss dgn mereka abt how i actually want them to cover my wedding eh? on this 1st deposit mcm terlalu awal cz my wedding pun will by end of this year. any idea?

hoyeah, thats exactly what i want for my wedding day nnt. on theme colors, thank god azam agree with me.. weee.. rasenye satu mase dulu ade pernah ckp psl theme color yg i nk n skrg rase nye pencarian bole la dimulakan. memandangkan me n azam will held our function at once so we decided to separate the hall into 2. bkn separate kan gune ape pun, cume red carpet menjadi penghalang. hehehe.. actually its to organize the guest supaye xsusah family kitorg nk meet n greet nnt. at least mine will stay at my area while azam's at his area. diorg pun xla akan rasa awkward tercampur dgn org yg xdikenali. n to differentiate it, i was thinking of using colors. hurm.. i know it may sound a bit baby2-ish but lantak la. my side will use pink on the decorations (centerpiece, alas meja or ribbon kerusi) n azam nye warne biru. lite one of course. the rest, putih2 saje. pelamin plak, msti la ade dua warne tu kan.. i like something like this --->

on this pic it seems a bit small but i swear smlm nmpk wp yg gune yg besar skit but the design is similar.  lupe la plak jumpe kat mane. reason suke kerusi mcm ni sbb ye la, pelamin nye konon nk yg simple xberpanel, so kne la ade sesuatu yg stand out skit. in fact this chair mmg nmpk a bit grand. dgn cushion2 yg fluffy lg comel, msti cantik. insyallah, will try to make this dream come true.

very nice isnt it? bertuahnye empunya badan yg punye wedding ni. dari die nye pelamin smpai ke meja beradab sumenye gorgeous. kalo den ni, xmampu gaknye. jap, nnt try tanye kerja kahwin. mane tau ade rezeki bole gak dpt camni. kalo xdpt gak, alamat dok meja bulat biase je la. but of cz will make it extraordinaire skit. hehehe.. malu la mkn xngadap sape2. ngadap family2 la baru best. baru la mesra. *mesra~ (dgn gaye bob af dulu)*

owh btw, our parents have reach the verdict. tggl tggu response dr dewan plak *cz ari tu kan dh hntr surat* mintak2 la sume nye berjalan lancar. amin.. based on what i've gone through with them rase nye service diorg mmg memuaskan hati. baru hntr email jz give them 15-30mins diorg msti reply. but since ini hal surat menyuratkan, msti la die nk tunjuk kt sape2 then baru get back to me. alamat esok ni, jadi la satu hari yg penuh berpenantian bg ku. omg, progress dh semakin maju. i like!!

haih.. smlm baru je buat entry pasal hari happy. skrg ni jiwa kacau plak. yg pelik2 la si fira ni. hurm. well, hati ni jd xsenang bile pk kan pasal hall. like i did mentioned on the previous entry, that day by hook or by crook, i must send the letter to the management of the hall. n yes, i did that. so far, the management have given me a good response as well as a prompt service. they are real fast so its like im expecting the reply like every half an hour. tp ape kan daya, hari ni public holiday thaipusam. sudah pasti la diorg cuti. hoih.. ade jgak cube sedap kn hati agar bertenang lah sedikit. tp xtenang jgak. ade ke patut bole nervous. cipan btol perasaan ni. aiyark!!! tolong!!!

yay! smlm n hari ni (so far) im in a happy mode. alhamdulillah everything yg kat office dh di settle sepantas kilatnya. then smlm, i chat dgn anis (a good friend) n we talk so much about my wedding. owh, sungguh terharu bile anis pun excited on the deco mcm saye. seriously, sume pun nk kan wedding yg cantik2 kan. kalo bole sefairy tale yg bole (sile jgn prejudice, fairy tale xtertumpu hanya pada candy color itu saje je ye. name pun fairy tale, so kalo fairy tale kau glam, glam la. kalo fairy tale kau dark, dark la) but ape pun, sume org msti ade fairy tale mereka sendiri. n of cz i had mine. bile berjalan melompat2 dari satu blog to another, jumpe deco2 yg sgt sweet n lovely, one thing i had in mind "how i wish i could have it on my wedding day". too bad my only limitation is on my budget. the things n such is too expensive utk budget saye yg ngam2 choi ni. imagine, at least 1k for only 30 centerpieces? wht about another 70? so, nk kne tambah duit la? *spank head*

ohh, lupe nk announce officially kan, utk wedding kami nnt, kenduri me n azam akan di combine! wohooo.. so, byk cost bole save di situ. bapak2 ibu2 sume ok. n i really stress this to them, that im on a budget. this is my wedding, so im gonna use my own budget. alhamdulillah, mereka mengerti. dlm perit ade rase bangga. alahai susah nya hampir sume dibahu saya. harus la saya berkerja lebih kuat lagi. deep down inside, i pray to God. tolong la permudahkan urusan hamba-Mu ini. insyallah.. *wahhh.. saya bermukaddimah!*

Reason 1

ok, sambung cerita happy.. so, as i chat with anis, kami berdiskusi mengenai  lokasi n dekorasi. btw, anis ni seorg interior designer yg bertauliah. sebelum ni, i did raise this issue to kaklin n cuzie elya. diorg must help me to do the diy thingy especially on the centerpieces. of cz, u cant expect me to be there early in the morning  to set up centerpieces. so, i need some hand. alhamdulillah, anis delighted to share me her expertise yg psti nya sgt creative tu. nak2 pulak our taste is almost the same. she can read my mind n i can read hers. wohoo!! xsabarnye nk berchat, bercerita n berdiskusi dgn lebih pjg lebar lg.

As i go further with anis, rase nye lebih byk lg yg possible. al maklum, kakitangan dh bertambah. kitorg borak2 pjg kut2 byk lagi bende lain yg made possible to diy hari tu kan. n actually yes! nnt nk discuss dgn die on the guest registration tables (cz nnt akan ade 2) , guest book, photo booth n anything yg possible. siap ade discuss cane nk buat mini pelamin sendiri lagi. haaa... jgn main2. so, tu ade la antara sebab musabab apasal la smlm happy gile. rupe2 nye sbb dh nmpk hope di situ. yay!!

So, angan2 nk buat mcm ni. i mean the table n the signage. tp xde la nk buat sebijik mcm ni cz of cz, i have my own personal theme.

Ptg smlm lepas blk keje, i terus ajak azam gi section 7. saje nk check check check it out hall. gatal la kate kan.. n nasib baik jgak azam tgh dlm nada stabil walaupun byk sgt halangan melanda. masuk2 entrance i dh mentioned to azam, "start dr sini kite dh bole start deco!" jawap nye, "lu ingat lu kawin dgn dato' ke?" owh.. tersentap jap dgr. alarm call tu.. suh jgn angan tinggi2 sgt. pijak dibumi yg nyata. mase kitorg gi tu xde sape2 pun. to be honest dat was my first time pegi tpt tu. sebelum ni tgk dari google je. tu pun ximpress langsung. tp, bile dh ade kt tpt tu sendiri, serta merta slogan sony terucap2 dikepala. yupp, this is made.believe. i can picture everythng yg dh di plan right in front of my eyes. cant wait to confirm my booking. so far, i've got the date. cume nk hantar surat n proceed with the deposit. alahai.. cpt la azam settle kan on ur side. dh xsanggup dikecewakan hanya kerna mslh hall lg. nway, by hook or by crook, ptg ni nk hntr gak surat tu. actually sume pun dh siap tp msti la dpt bersetujuan dr kedua2 belah pihak. my side, settled. azam's, if according tu plan hari tu bole je but respect la kan. double check on the pricing kut2 ade second thought.

So, spjg perjalanan pulang, me n azam tersengih2. cant believe we already there. its sooo close n pstu kitorg kawin. omg, dh nk masuk 7thn rupenye. rase mcm baru ari tu knal, gado nangis2 siap tumbuk2. tehehehe.. n skrg dh nk kawin. best3.. =P

mlm td secara xsengaja terimbau nostalgia lame ketika menonton cerita Putera tahun 1995. lakonan Joe dari kumpulan Wings n erma fatimah. fuhhh, Joe mase tu ade ciri2 lelaki pilihan kut. tehehe.. sbb kan cite tu i masih tersengih2 diwaktu pagi. weee... seronok nye!

catering? anyone? ade idea yg awesome or recommendation yg best? im almost there to confirm on my hall so the next step must be how to fill the hall with of cz, foooood. pleaseeee.. drop a comment if u have any caterer u'd like to suggest. those with tables n chairs' package would b real good. mucho gracias in advance! *flying kisses!*

Im moving slow!

hurm.. *mengeluh yg paling pjg skali*. as u can see, my wedding preps are moving as slow as a fat snail climbing up hill. honestly, everything stoped since hal dewan xdpt di settle kan lagi. the progress, doubted to proceed with dewan banquet mbsa cz i really want to avoid having function at night. other options yg sedang di work out adalah lagi satu calon dewan di shah alam n dewan raja muda musa at kompleks belia dan kebudayaan negeri selangor. thank god i have a very concern aunty to help me out. she'll settle the other hall while im gonna call dewan raja muda musa (DRMM) for confirmation on my date availability tomorrow.

actually, last week i met my future P.I.L as we need to clarify on certain things. on date, to double confirm n i seriously nak it to be on 23rd december. it gonna falls on friday n we'll have the reception after that. as they were asking, nk buat skali ke? frankly, its no problem with me. in fact it might save some cost instead of hiring 2pelamins, kite hire satu je. for once n all done. but as we discussed it further, it really need to depends on the venue. will try to find out on DRMM sbb hall tu je yg bole accommodate up to 1800pax. hall lain, mayb xbole tampung capacity both of my guests n azam's.

i estimated my guests to b not more than 700pax. kalo takat 500pax tu pun dh kire will do. kalo according to the listed halls i have, sume tu seems like having no problem. tp kalo nk begabung buat skali, i need to find bigger halls. kat shah alam ni rase nye xbyk hall yg besar. n kitorg pun kalo bole xmo la tgk our guests kuar masuk. much prefer if they can stay sit at one time n kite sume mkn same2. so, nmpak gayenye perlu la saya bertungkus lumus meng-confirm-kan dgn DRMM kalo2 diorg still available. otherwise terpaksa la buat dua kenduri.

selain pada mslh venue yg xconfirm2, kitorg kne gak get ready to pay deposit to lhmedia.tv by the end of this month. next week, dh plan utk outing bersama su ke tpt2 yg menarik utk survey2 brg. pendek kate nk window shop skit. hopefully, ade la skit dpt membuahkan hasil. insyallah.. cant wait to write on the next progress. kadang2 ade terase mcm sikit desperate berbuat begitu apabila melihat seperti telah byk ketinggalan.. sobs!

reception on friday nite. ok ke?

aiyark.. kalo pk pasal preps rase mcm lajunye mase berlalu. tp kalo pk psl nk cuti cz tiap2 pagi bgn gi kje asik terfikir, alamak, bile nk hari ahad ni, lambat plak hari tu rasenye berlalu. hurm.. ape pun, yg penting perlu didahulukan. on previous post i did mentioned psl halls kan. hurm.. skrg baru ku sedar, its not a small matter tau. dalam ati ni asik ckp sendiri je "kalo kau xdpt hall within this month, confirm kau kawin dpn rumah je". unless terterime surat wasiat daripada seorg org kaya yg purposely pick random ppl to accept his will which even in my wildest dream pun susah nk jadi, bole la kite petik je mane2 hotel n hall kan. tp for skrg ni, no money no talk.

on my wedding day aka my special day, mmg rase mcm sume pun nk gune duit sendiri. dulu time blom kje ade gak rase cam nk buat surat mintak sponsorship dgn mak, abah, su.. tp skrg dh tuka plak. bkn sbb malu tp sbb xtau nape rase lagi puas kalo sume pun dihandle sendiri. but of cz, mak abah nk gak contribute. n harus diingatkan yg aku ni still ade mak bapak lagi. alhamdullillah.. nak2 plak mak abah ku mmg cool n supportive. 

so, ckp psl dewan, mmg skrg ni dewan mbsa je yg available on 23rd december n according to my dad, date tu mmg tgh hold hanye utk saye buat sementare waktu ni. *haih.. nasib abah ade cable mbsa* but to hold lame2, tu lemak sgt name nye. cable xcable. so, saye asik di push oleh abah utk decide. tidakkk!! susah kot. byk bende nk kne consider. kate xnk buat majlis mlm. tp mak kate xpe, ari sabtu kite bole buat small kenduri kt rumah sbg tanda kesyukuran. hurm.. still xpuas ati. celaru sesgt2 ni.

the pros to hold reception on hari jumaat malam:

1. since nikah dh buat siang tu, so no need la nk buat mlm berinai cz majlis sanding pun dh dilangsung kan terus.

2. in terms of guest, memandangkan hari cuti sekolah, mungkin longgar for my cuzens especially side my mom cz diorg xyah tggu anak2 diorg blk skola. kalo bab kje plak, most aunties n uncles on mak's side mcm flexible. (tp xla smpai nk buat ari rabu tu pun kire flexible) furthermore, im sure they will attend my nikah session so instead of blk rumah n then the next day dtg blk, might as well stay terus.

3. side abah plak, hurm.. some of them bole but some of them mayb kne consider. tgk pade institusi kekeluargaan yg agak erat, mungkin it wont b too berat. in fact wan is the only org tua left in the family. i mean byk anak2 sedare yg dh berumur2 tu anggap die mcm mak sendiri cz their mom (or wan's sibling) dh ramai yg passed away.

4. its cuti skola n ujung thn what.. abis kan la annual leave tu terus dh alang2 tu. hehehe..

the cons to hold reception on hari jumaat malam:

1. owh, how i dont like it to be on waktu mlm. time yg tide. kalo yg mane dtg jauh tu, pkul bape plak diorg nk smpai. do i have to wait for them. pkul bape plak nnt nk abis? hurm.. tp, since its actually started dari pagi mayb some close friends n families will definitely stay. so, instead of having after party, kite buat ala-ala pre party dulu. huhu..

2. ade ke org yg interested nk dtg? based on my experience kje kt convention centre, those wedding yg buat friday nite seems like having no problem. same je tgk kalo buat hari2 biase tu pun. tp tu laa.. mlm beb, nnt event tu msti kejap je. i mean, expecting guests to settle by 8.30pm (kalau settle 8.30pm. kalo 9pm xsettle2? dh gamble..) the bride n groom to arrive on 8.45pm. mkn start 9pm. 9.30pm renjis. 10pm sesi bergambar + kalo yg nk mkn lg mkn. 11pm blk.. hurm.. tu je ke??

3. kalo guest i degil mcmane? sesat ke.. nnt smpai pkul 9.30pm plak mcmane? sobs..

one word, GILE! i never tot that mencari dewan yg berpatutan utk tarikh hampir hujung tahun ini even dlm minggu pertame tahun ini bole menjadi tersangat la susah! oh boy! oh boy! as u can see on their website, dewan bankuet MBSA dh full for the entire weekends of 2011. so do laman budaya (i just found out that the rental cume RM850 + RM100 deposit!) murah kan? patut fully book! unlike putrajaya n damansara/tmn tun area, kt shah alam ni xde dwn komuniti yg bole cater wedding. hurm.. correction, ade but no aircond n berlantaikan court badminton. actually lantai ape pun xkisah la. tp air cond! air cond! stakat kipas dinding lebih rela kipas canopy tu. but tu la, kat shah alam mmg xde dewan cantu. for other halls, sediakan rm10k keatas. hurm.. saye ni bkn org ade2 so to spend rm10k> itu dikire merelakan diri mkn pasir goreng berlauk ranting rebus semate2.

well, sebenarnye ade lagi beberape option yg belum diketahui status nye. 

1. lakukan saje di dewan bankuet mbsa pade 23hb december yg bersamaan jugak dgn menjalankan majlis dlm satu hari sahaja (which is on friday : nikah - am / sanding - mlm) 

2. tggu dewan raja muda musa @ kompleks belia dan kebudayaan s'gor sec 7 bukak tender utk booking hall. (rate : RM6+++) for 1800pax which sgt besar ok. kite target dlm 500-700pax je so mstila akan nmpk kosong je hall tu nnt =( 

3. waiting for a good friend of mine utk check kan dwn guthrie. i pun xpnah tau hall tu so i dont know much. mmbe tu kire mcm part of the resident kt bkt jelutong so harap she can find out. try call based on number get from the internet bt xdpt. 

4. waiting for the answer frm cuzen about kelab shah alam. hope he can get me a good price.

walaupun the date sounds like its still so far away, tp kes2 mcm ni meribut dan melintang pukang kan keadaan. everytime try to call the hall walaupun cume dgr tone ringing tu  punhati dh rase sgt berdebar2. nway, semoga berjaya di cubaan seterusnye. majulah dewan utk semua!
