project weekend :: canopy decor for baby aisy' safiyyah's akikah

this cute little princess, is belong to my friend's friend, kak amy. *wave liyana!!* pheww.. tgk mak nye saje sudah xperlu tanye knp la baby die cute sgt. she's a mother of 2 tp die lagi slim dari i. pang la laju2 kalo nak..

it was about 3weeks ago when i offered myself to help kak amy to do the deco for her daughter's akikah. if only u know how i miss doing all this thing with scissors and glue and glitters and of course ribbons.. its like getting my favorite toys back and last week, me n my husband, linda and her's went to bandar nusa rhu to hung all the things we have and prepared specially for baby fiya. 

we arrived at bandar nusa rhu dlm pkul10. hehehe.. lambat plak eh.. biase la, 1st timer.. dgn sesat nye.. awww... malu! smpai2 je baby fiya tgh menyusu so without further a do, we all pun start..

being a beginner, bukan la mudah kitorg nk decide on how to place things. but fortunately, we sort it out in just a minute *chewah*.

we started with hanging the lanterns around the canopy. the theme was pink, peach and yellow. since canopy dh peach *seriously, its a very nice peach*, so we try to play with other colors such as yellow n pink.

kak amy only wanted to have lanterns around the canopy. but being me yg tgh gian nk buat itu ini, i added few other things.. =P

xcukup dgn tu, i added a special centre pieces and a little candy treat for the guests.. *i hope they like these "unrequested" items*

ohhh... seronoknye rase dpt buat semua ni!!! i DIY the paper flower since a week before the function n all i know is that i was being so gigih! huhuhu.. alhamdulillah, nmpk mcm berbaloi..

we finished putting up all these things at 2am in the morning. i cant be more grateful with having a very supportive husband like azam. xsangka, sudi die melayan "hobi" isteri die ni.. kalo la die xde, xtau la cemane si katik ni *referring to myself* nk memanjat, menggantung2..

the next day, i woke up quite early sbb terlalu nervous mengenangkan mcmane la decor aku tu.. tanggal ke yg gantung2 tu? n the worst feeling was "suke ke kak amy dgn ape yg aku gantung2 tu" sbb mase kitorg blk mlm tu, tuan rumah semua dh tdo..

n the good news was, nasib baik die suke. n whats even great is when kak amy kate die nk pggl i lagi utk birthday decor plak. hoyeah!!!! a special gratitude to hubby *of cz* and linda sbb sudi bersama2 menjayakan projek ini. hihihi.. n i cant be thanking enough to my good friend ilah sbb dh tolong buat kan table tag for the centre pieces. ohhh ilah, u're more than just an office mate. *hugs*

as for this week's project *alhamdulillah, projek blom putus buat mase ni*, i ade deadline to meet. a special bantal hantaran for syida.. i hope i can get it done on time.. the process is on going n i hope she will love it. owh... i just love doing things like this.. *rase mcm nk scream*.

wedding review :: Caterer on Reception by Eiman Catering

hi readers.. im sure byk yg tercongok pagi ni dpn pc/laptop kan.. i pun xde mood nk start kje skrg ni.. seriously.. *blame it on the weather* but i've done few important things n skrg nk mengadap, menyambung review psl wedding i yg xberkesudahan tu..

for my reception, i've covered about my hall, my pelamin, my make-up, my attire, skrg tibe la mase nye utk i review psl my caterer plak..

appointed eiman catering during karnival pengantin at stadium melawati if xsilap in june last year. in oct/nov baru la rase nye kitorg in contact dgn lebih kerap..

mase first jumpe PIC utk my wedding, org nye ok.. berjanji setia n mcm2 bole disediakan utk pelanggan. the fathers dh mcm, "amboi, semua boleh.. yeke ni?" but so far, i suke care org tu layan.. masih menerapkan ciri2 customer is always right. *well, good customer deserve it kan*

tp before kenduri, ade satu bende yg slack.. mereka mintak payment super beriya!! katenye sebab nk order brg la ape la.. tp sudah nye... *terus kan bace jika ingin tahu*. nak2 plak PIC tibe2 bertukar.. yg polite dulu tu dh xde. dh la PIC baru ni xtau PIC lame janji ape, ckp ape, bg ape.. haih.. susah gitu.. sudah nye kami byr jgak amount nye about a week before event. tu pun beriya btol die mintak full payment alasan sbb xnk menyusah kan tuan rumah dihari kenduri nnt. *iskk... ckp je la kau xpercaye customer tu takut diorg lari*. but well, kami paham situasi itu. but then we still refuse to pay full.. *hukhuk.. kau ingat kau sorg je takut dgn customer xbayor? kitorg pun takut gak kalo kau xturn out or buat service cam endah xendah*

on the day, diorg kate nk dtg set up hall petang jumaat selepas solat. tp, hampeh.. ye2 kite mintak org hall bukak pintu awal.. tp sudah nye org pelamin kemane, org caterer kemane. fine.. hujan katenye.. xjumpe dewan. *tu la jgn assume cpt sgt. ade ke die ckp besar kate hall kite tu hall org main badminton. iskk.. tau la ade pengalaman tp jgn la belagak pandai dgn pengalam yg ade tu kan*. tp, dlm pukul 8 lebih mcm tu diorg dh smpai pasang2.. lega.. 

service wise

based on the setup, we're quiet satisfied. in terms of color used n chafing dish semua, semua mcm yg dijanjikan.. buat pengetahuan, kitorg request chafing dish exclusive..

and diorg mmg dh janji nk kasi table runner special n centre piece untuk setiap meja..

*see, ade table runner warne cekelet tu and bunga as centre piece.. kire bole la tu..*

part of the package, mmg meja beradap akan dtg skali.. rase saye, the meja is quite basic.. xde pun hiasan bunga2 ke ape.. makanan tu je la semata2 atas meja. i terlepas pandang utk menekan kan ttg dekorasi meja beradap.. *tp bile jd pengantin, terus xheran pasal ape bunga yg ade atas tu*

*i ade observed through their gambar2 on website n i do notice that they serve the food dr depan. kalo ikut kan, mane bole membontot kan tetamu. tp xsempat jugak nk highlight. xkan time tu nk terjegil2 kn pelayan tu suruh serve ikut blk kan*

n btw, pelayan mereka agak laju meng-clear kan table so, agak bagus disitu. 

sampai di akhir majlis, biase la.. mase utk mereka menuntut bayaran.. luckily, out of almost 1k balance yg perlu bayar, the fathers ckp diorg cume mintak RM50 je sbb 1) diorg xbagi kitorg kerusi banquet utk VIP tables as promised. 2) staff diorg ade tumpahkan makanan mase hari tu. 3)dissatisfactory on the food. phewww... sib baik diorg sedar diri.

taste wise

i received various comments on the food. office mate kate makanan adelah sedap especially nasik die sbb nasik die saje dh sedap smpai boleh dimakan begitu saje. ade juge cuzens n guest yg dtg smpai mintak contact number sbb katenye makanan sedap.

but family kate, the bubur kacang, dh mcm sup kacang! minyak semua naik n org mcm dh takut nk makan *arghh.. malu!! tutup muke*. n dlm pkul 1.30-2pm mcm tu, ayam dh start merosak. katenye bau dh start bau by then n rase pun dh berubah. pendek kate, lauk ayam masak merah tu basi bile smpai waktu petang. kesian guests yg dtg.. malu jgak la tuan rumah dibuat nye.. well, para2 makcik pun membuat andaian bahawa ayam tidak digoreng terlebih dahulu hingga menyebabkan lauk itu cepat basi. see.. dulu beriya mintak payment awal kate nk order brg kan? so, bile brg dh order awal pun xbole nk goreng dulu? 

ufff.. sakit hati bile dikenang kembali. tp since ade segelintir yg puji *mungkin mereka dtg awal*, make sejuk jugak la hati ni. alhamdulillah, masih ade yg sayang suke.

adakah saya akan recommend caterer ini kepada anda? no komen.. tepuk dada tanye selera.. pegi mane2 pun pasti akan ade cacat cela nye. its just us yg kne caution dan bersedia. secara keseluruhan, i just kate ok je utk caterer ni.. mungkin mase ni nasib i kurang baik. or mungkin diwaktu lain, service mereka bagus. idk. se-tak bagus diorg pun i rase xde la teruk sgt. bnde2 yg penting alhamdulillah, tidak ape2.. so like i said, their just ok or in another word, average2 saje..

combined reception - the goods and the bads

hello lovelies.. ape cer? sihat? hehehe.. actually tonite i nk share psl my reception yg cume sekali tu.. tahukah anda bahawa my wedding reception telah dijalankan serentak bagi acara bersanding dan bertandang.. so, kitorg naik pelamin skali je.. T_T

but anyway, i nk share ape yg i rase about the 2 in 1 reception hari tu..

tahukah anda that we actually divided the hall menggunakan warna tema?

yupp, besides family kitorg yg pakai baju ikut warna tema, hall pun dibahagi dua menggunakan walk way n red carpet. rational nye sbb supaya senang tetamu utk amik tempat masing2 n family sendiri pun senang nk layan. xla melilau nk carik n layan tetamu kan..

at first ade jgak yg menentang.. kate nye mcm bias la ape la.. tp i mcm xbole terima plak.. nk bias amende nye.. bkn guest i knal guest die kan?

n it turned out, easy breazy!!! i rase xde masalah pun hari tu.. lagi2 bile ade signage besar kat luar pintu. *hishhh... xde gambar clear pulak tp board masih ade di rumah azam* n it helps big time!!! btw, ini adalah idea bapa mertua ku.. huhuhu.. sungguh bangga dgn ke-geliga-an otak nye yg boleh dibuat batu cincin.

tahukah anda bahawa hampir 99.9% of the wedding expenses adalah dikonsi sama rata?

yupp, drpd katering, ke pelamin, ke hall rental, ke photographer, videographer, semua nye kitorg bahagi 2 ngam2.. owh.. i found it really helpful especially bile pengantin on budget mcm kami.. 

to decide on who to hire n who to fire, i normally akan propose ke both parents dulu n dpt kan pendapat masing2. we talked about the service, the PR, the price.. lepas tu bile dh agree, bahagi 2deposit n bermula la semuanya.. biase nye i la yg jadi tukang ckp utk both side. suami dok diam je arrange kan meeting. ahaha.. dh macam PA i je..

tahukah bahawa kami juga memberikan doorgift yg berbeza mengikut suke hati kami masing kpd tetamu kami?

ok, i rase ini adalah common problem yg dihadapi oleh member2 group yg buat majlis sekali.. seriously, kalo bole elak dr kasi barang yg same, try elak.. in my case, i sgt beruntung sbb family semua very supprotive n memahami.

probably sbb kitorg same berpendapat yg kalo bagi same kang family msti xsuke dgn idea his family. n so do the other way round..

sudahnye, family kitorg kasi jar filled with chocolates..

and his family kasi paperbag filled with wajik, bunga telur, kerepek n such.. *maaf, xde gambar*

tahukah anda bahawa beberapa meeting diadakan sebelum majlis?

yupp, toleration is the essential. i bertuah sbb both parents sgt understanding.. ape2 semua diorg tanye i dulu.. we discussed n decide together.. i pun byk amik their pinion into consideration. well, as u know, wedding bkn tentang kite saje.. daripada hall dewan smpai la ke hall baju, parents kitorg akan masuk campur. trust me, take it with an open heart, ianya akan menjadi best.. *ohh, rase cam nk group hug dgn mak abah n mak abah mertua*

overall i sgt suke dgn cooperation yg dihulur kan oleh our family members during the wedding day.. seriously, dgn floor manager nye, semua took part n khopefully they enjoyed it too.. 

sbb tu, forget about the pelamin that i dont quiet like, forget about my simple hair do bt i just love my wedding to the max. my beautiful wedding was complimented with our awesome family members.. HEART THEM BIG TIME!!!!

you, me and baby

it has been our third month of marriage.. alhamdulillah, we're happy being married to each other.. few people been asking, "dah ade isi?". pstu aku tgk badan sendiri.. patut la org tanye. peningkatan nye sgt drastik! 

ade isi ke x, xmenjadi persoalan bagi ku *cecececeh* yg penting semua ketentuan tuhan aku turuti *cececececeh lagi skali*. Allah knows whats best for me.. Allah knows whats best for me and azam. Allah knows whats best for our life..

period has been late. patut dh period bulan 2 hari tu.. im feeling something. but i hope its not it. i mean, not now. ramai yg ckp, we should plan accordingly ikut financial. its not that im against it, but im very sure with what Allah has planned for me and azam, cantik2.. anak itu rezeki. and rezeki itu xsemestinya duit. doa doa dan doa, insyallah selagi kite bersyukur, Allah xlupe kan kite.  

frankly, i blom puas berjalan dan lakukan aktiviti bini org yg blom beranak.. i mean, there's so many other things that i wanted to do. but if "melekat" what do u expect me to do? terima dgn perut tgn yg terbuka.

actually xsuke nk tulis pasal ni.. but this is how i feel at the mo.. rase cam nk buat UPT sbb dh lambat.. selera has been crazy lately. perut dh mcm pregnant 17bulan *ok, tipu*. tp another side of me keep saying "no, not yet.. u hv yet to do this, u hv yet to do that". ok, terase diri ini mcm donald duck.. tp lately, i've staring at babies like crazy jgak.. dgr kawan2 sembang tp mate tgk baby.. lagi2 baby comel, dlm otak msti dok fikir "tah2 baby aku pun comel mcm baby ni". dan2 mkn pun aku careful.. nk minum soft drinks fikir 2-3kali pstu mcm ade tamparan dipipi, "kau ingat kau pregnant?!".

and another thing bile terfikir yg diri ini pregnant, terus tgk calendar n start kire gune jari.. if pregnant skrg bersaling, bulan 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11? uwaaaa... blom cukup setahun aku kawin!!! mane la bole.. <--- org yg meroyan n bercakap sambil lue yg diri tu ade tuhan. again, tuhan jgak yg sedap kan hati aku.. 

phewww... nk terase terluah ke xeh perasaan lepas tulis ni? dada berdegup2.. perut membesar2..

selamat sejahtera semua.. hows monday so far? mine.. biasa2 aja.. well, to those yg duduk kt klang valley mungkin ada yg sedar yg pagi tadi hujan rintik2 air bergelora bukan? actually, mase bgn pagi td mmg i bermonolog sendiri yg how i wish i am a full time housewife. tgk plak adik yg tgh tggu result spm tu kemain syok lagi die tidur. dgn nganga, lentik2.. arghhh... jeles!

tp bile dh masuk bilik air, dh sedar dh yg i need to work for my living. family xde ladang getah mahupun ladang anggur 40-60 ekar.so, redha la i bersiap dgn kelajuan nyaris2 seperti siamang.

ok, u know what, salah satu sebab knp i liat sgt nk bgn adalah sbb mengenangkan how i enjoy myself over the weekend. yeah... semestinya bile melakukan aktiviti persatuan yg awesome!!!!! kami wanita gedik bile saling rindu-merindui.. gosh, our friendship masih baru tp seronok nye bercerita, mcm dh kenal 17thn!

masing2 bawak hidangan utk dimkn bersama. n me, of course la dgn juadah spaghetti yg baru pandai masak tu. 

our menu : nasi lemak, spaghetti bolognaise, roti jala, cucur udang, caramel puding and agar2 as dessert.

ini pula chef2 nye.. ade 3 mak buyong and 3 mak dara yg tgh tggu masa nk dibuyongkan.

spaghetti first time fira vs. roti jala si terer fiena

agar2 yati vs. caramel puding amy yg xkeluar lagi.

2 mak buyong ni curik tulang sementara mak buyong lagi satu tu lompat2 carik itu ini.

hahaha.. gurau2 je fiena n yati.. ampun.. korg xcurik tulang, i yg curik korg sbb nk buat perbandingan perut.

while semua bini2 bergossip, the husband buat aktiviti bebas. ade yg borak, ade yg tgk tv. mujur semua suami2 sudi melayan isteri2 ini. ohh.. kalo kite yg berborak mmg smpai kesudah xpuas. asal jumpe mesti ckp xpuas. agaknye nk sampai 7 keturunan kitorg jumpe n borak pun xkan habis puas nya. 

seriously, it was so much fun berjumpe n bergathering. diperakui, melepak dirumah sambil diperhati suami adalah lebih tenang dr meng-kaya-kan kedai2 mkn bile melepak (which kalo bole kitorg nk dok kedai tu dr start kedai tu bukak smpai habis kedai tu tutup) well, ade 2org ahli ketinggalan bas dek kerana traffic jam (??) tp xpe, setiap kali jumpe adalah best. xkisah siape dan bile.. 

look forward for our next big plan, bbq at fiena's and holiday at penang.. woot2!!!

Air Tangan Fira :: Spaghetti Bolognaise

hey folks!!! selamat ahad mlm isnin.. i know, i know.. time ni la time kite semua (most of us) paling lemau skali.. actually, i pun same..  cam nk nangis mengenangkan esok hari isnin. mase kan tidak, i had a blast weekend kottt!!!

ok, straight to the point.. its a new record in my life when today, i just spent almost quarter day in a kitchen alone, preparing FOOD! ok, i tipu kalo i ckp i xpandai masak. tp yg biase i masak adalah nugget, fries, nugget n fries.. hehehe.. ampun, im not an eater. i dont give a damn on those "fancy" foods. i just attracted to simple chicken n potato. sekian.

namun begitu, dek kerana aktiviti persatuan hari ni sgt la ohsem, so i gagah kan jugak diri ni utk ke giant seawal 10am *alone jgak sbb laki aku tdo. penat membantu aku mkm smlm katenye*. since ini adalah my first attempt so i planned to start early.. about 2hours, maka tersedia lah spaghetti bolognaise utk dibawa ke rumah lisa!!!

in terms of kesedapan, susah skit i nk ckp. tp i rase sedap sbb it tasted almost 90% like my mom's. i mmg suke sgt spaghetti mak i.. owh well, thats where i first love spaghetti anyway. mak pnye recipe mmg xpakai sbrg instant sauce. pendek kate, ini spaghetti org mesia.

overall, im so proud with my achievement today. happy jgak bile i can finally nmpk azam senyum like he's proud of me *maybe*. i know, i know.. bende mcm ni un nk kecoh, but like serious im such a big damn loser when it comes to cooking. if dulu kalo i pegang sudip je azam selalu nmpk silap i, well i guess just leave alone in the kitchen n i'l do magic. *chewah*

hoyeah! its friday korg!! so whats ur weekend plan this week? after having an awesome, full weekend last week, secara automatic minggu ku bergerak dgn sungguh pantas n thank god its friday again!

this week pun jadual saya agak padat. alhamdulillah.. xla bosan melanguk dirumah. i've my cuzen's engagement to attend on saturday, a little project with linda to settle on saturday nite and pot luck tea cum dinner with my persatuan on sunday!!! gosh.. sgt look forward dgn activity2 ni..

anyhow, i nk thank kak amy n syida for having faith in me.. that brings me to the projects that im currently happy working on. now i have reasons to play back my favorite toys. alhamdulillah, i dpt full support from hubby who patiently take me out here n there.

in the same time, im so nervous with the project. well, knowing that people are putting their trust on me makes me shaky. but insyaallah, i'll try my very best.
